Res Sigs and PVP
Simple thing to do, Without a Res sig equiped, you cannot enter a pvp match. Its so lame losing in RA/TA/Tombs (Yes, Tombs!) When people dont bring a res sig and we lose because of it.
I just had a funny encounter in RA, A trapper didnt bring res sig, I told him to bring it next time, He whispered me saying "incase you didnt notice, im a trapper dumbass, I dont have room for res sig". That is the worst excuse for not bringing a res sig I've heard, seeing as he only used barbed and flame trap during the whole match, only 2 skills the entire match, and he says he doesnt have room for a sig, and calls me a noob. Seriously?
EVERY PVP BUILD HAS ROOM FOR A RES SIG! NO MATTER WHAT!
Opinions?

It happens in Tombs more often then RA, think again of the bad idea. What do you mean Sacrifice a skill slot? You dont have res sig equiped in tombs? Seriously this is the kind of people that make teams lose of no reason because they didnt feel like bringing a specific skill.

I lost an ecto in UW because I was the only R/Mo out of 4 who brought rebirth. Anyone who does not bring res is a noob in my opinion and is a selfish non-team player.
However, what really annoys me is in pvp when you have used your res signet on someone and they get themselves killed again and then hurl abuse at you for not res-ing them again when you can't. There is no place in the game for any abuse no matter how bad a person is at playing but even worse when you become the target of abuse not because of your game play being bad but because they are bad at whatever they are doing. I would never leave a group on a mission or quest or pvp but now if someone in my own party gives me abuse I leave and any guild member I find who gives abuse to another guild member will be kicked from the guild.
But back to the point - Anyone who does not bring res is not a team player.

While I do think it's stupid not to bring a rez signet (or rez of some sort) into ANYTHING PvP or PvE with a group---I don't think it should be mandatory by any means. If a team is coordinated enough to have people without it then they should by all means have the right to do so. If you want to make sure your whole group has a rez signet, make sure they do BEFORE you enter.

Well.. they should at least make it for RA, Since its random and you cant talk to your team mates before-hand. I pvp at RA, TA teams are more stupid then RA groups, unless its a guild group, Tombs is pethetic right now, unless you have a guild that pvp.

Funny then, that if I were to bring a res as a monk into GvG or Tombs-even in most parts of TA, I would be called a noob, or at the very least be asked to explain myself.
At best, there is a tenuous argument in favour of putting a res on a monk. I don't believe that it's an efficient use of a skill slot, that could be better used for, say, keeping people alive?
Saying every build has room for a res is like saying every build has room for another attack skill or a healing spell-of course, a res is nice, but it's nowhere near essential to have a res on every character.

Beat me by a minute. But yeah, if you can keep people alive then there's no reason to have to res them is there?

I always bring a sig with pugs, because they are stupid and dont listen and run off, but for me thats the only way to tomb.

Ehhh. For random arena, maybe. For places where you can pick teammates, I'd much rather just have some way to tell if a teammate has a res sig. Like being able to look at teammates' skillbars... or maybe a little mini res sig icon next to the name/healthbar of each ally who has one. That could also be handy for seeing who hasn't already used theirs.

No, that's a stupid idea. I don't use Res Sig sometimes when I monk. Not my fault you're going with a random team of idiots.
